Note From the Artist: My favorite medium is watercolor. I am not sure why? For my personality, in some ways, I like control, fine detail, and precision. Watercolor isn’t like that, you have to let go of making it perfect. Let the water move the way it wants to. Let it bleed across the page making beautiful patterns, blending with colors, and following gravity to make its own path. Maybe this is a way for me to let go. Letting go of my imperfections, letting go of emotions, letting go of pain, letting go of what I can’t control, letting it be. Letting the uncontrollable make a beautiful piece of art.
